Where In The World Is Everything?????

Thanks for asking ....
Ummm...yes paper has become our friend. There is no cooking because I have no stove, no sink, I can not even find the toaster over BUT...I do have the microwave in the hallway...so we are good to go...Ha.
Amber...I am going to ask him today what he was smiling at...really...I think he was laughing at my mess HE helped make..
Lori...I bet you could not sleep last night cause I left you hanging...so here I am first thing to share the rest of this wow story..just for you..lol

Let me explain something...
I am excited about the idea of a new kitchen. But we had damage in our kitchen from a slab leak and the drain collapsed. We are blessed to live in a house beach side in Florida. But it comes with a price...our house was built in 1955 and well that means everything seems to be having issues. So yes it is exciting to get the kitchen done for us..not our insurance company. Ha. The floor was drilled into and the damage there...and this was all started before I had my operation. But the timing with the mess and our finical part could not of come at a worse time. With that being said...Let's move on to the pictures...Lori was left hanging and that is so not cool...

Now notice that we get to have our juice and crackers and the microwave in the Living Room...The kids are loving this...Mommy is not. Daddy seems to not care..MEN..ha

Umm...does your snowman have crackers, juice and onions? Hummm

Oh and just to clear something else up...every closet is cleaned out also..in the living room and dinning room. Seems like if you wanna have a simple door replaced in a 1955 beach house ..the rods are hung into the trim...so...start moving out those clothes...and boxes ..and trash. LOL

And yes...Jim's and my clothes got to use the rack. The kids are wherever they can find a place. But then again they are use to being on the floor and behind the bathroom door ..Ya know it is true Moms..

LOL- bless your heart! I had a room filled like that up until well, maybe last Saturday. Yes, through the holidays. It will pass and all will be back in place, but oh isn't it funny how much we have tucked in cupboards and closets. Have fun with your new kitchen!

Wow, on top of everything else you have going on you must be a saint!

I can't wait to see how your kitchen turns out!

Bless your heart!! I would just get so tired of it and stick it somewhere where I couldn't see the mess...perhaps a closet (lol)

My experience is that throwing it all away is only a temporary cleanup. When we lost our house (and I do mean the whole house) in a fire, one of the things my dh said was that at least the clutter was all gone, not to be worried about again! It was not too long before the clutter returned. I personally just think it is one of the things that is inevitable if you have four kids and you spend time enjoying them all! At least, that is my story and I am sticking to it!

Oh gosh...that has to be weighing on you like a ton of bricks. I mean, of course you still have a roof over your head (right, you aren't re-doing that too are you!) No wonder you feel so bogged down lately, no control or order to house, your household, your health - must feel like it is all in chaos right now. Wish I was close, I would so devote a day to just come in and give you the "illusion" of some order. :)

Trust me - she is going crazy. And there are NO closets to stuff any of it in to. I want to know who we can all call to get them to send extra help and work extra hours to get.it.done! I bet if about 25 women were to call them, all on the same day ... just sayin'.

You know what the worst of it would be for me? Knowing I have to put it all away when it's done. I'm so not good at that. Just look in my ... oops. My dirty little secret LOL

Love ya, Amy! And you ARE a saint :)

Oh you poor poor poor lady!!! hahah
Let this renovation speed along (as I am sure it has so far!)
You aren't going to know what to do with yourself when the new kitchen is finished. Can't wait to see the finished results... and the answer to the smiling man in the window - he is a bravveeee man for wearing that smile that way!

We went through about 7 years of renovations while living in the little house behind ours which we also renovated. I can get an idea of how you feel. And, about the kids, of course they like their clothes strewn everywhere when they aren't supposed to be.

I had to live like Lisa Douglas on Green Acres at the little house. You couldn't run the dryer and the air conditioner at the same time. Not a good thing during a hot summer in the South.

P.S. Maybe that guy in your kitchen was laughing to keep from crying. lmbo

Oh goodness.. I feel bad for laughing about the onions and the snowman! All you deal with and NOW this??? Well it's the universe's way of giving you a fab new kitchen right? At least tell yourself that. Good luck! You are one seriously STRONG woman!!!!

So M2E... ask Amy how long it took some women to help get the last remaining things out of the kitchen so they could start gutting it? LOL

Love the pixs! Their workmen are doing a fantastic job.. they just need to do it faster... right? At least we left the micro so you could heat up the Uncle Ben's Rice... for the kids that is...

Oh my Eske... I sure as sure hope that Amy's doesn't take 7 years.... Now that would solidify the INSANITY plea... lol

Yes, I know about that bathroom behind the door and on the floor. I don't know why they don't look there first when they are missing a piece of clothing--that is usually where it is.
