Could Santa Bring me...

So the lab tech tells me she wishes Santa would bring me some better veins for her to work with...Ha...Me too.
My veins are just done. Too many IV's and test and meds ...
Looking forward to getting started to get done and back to LIVING .....
Notice we changed nurses half way through...But we got all the tubes filled up and sent off. praying for some good results SOON.
I have a Big test Monday at the heart center. I will be having my PET scan done and a second test they added on.
Looking forward to getting that done and getting some answers about the nodules on the lungs and whatever else they are looking for.

Dear Amy: I loved the pictures - you are looking so intently at the procedure.

Your veins must have "rolled". Jeff had that happen to him as well - but now they are not having problems. I guess time just takes care of that.

You are in my daily prayers and I will pray especially hard Monday while you have your tests. When Jeff had his PET scan they went from the top of his head down to his thighs. They do it with radioactive glucose (no you won't gain weight - tee hee). That glucose helps the scan pick up "hot spots". The unfortunate thing was the scan can't differentiate between inflammation and cancer cells. That is why Jeff had to undergo 6 more chemo treatments (to be on the safe side) because they found some red spots. The doctors just wanted to play safe. It could be nothing but inflammation.

I have no doubt in my mind that 2009 will be a better year for you and your family. Just keep the faith - and keep praying (especially to St. Padre Pio. He's great at interceding. He sure helped with Jeff's miracle...

Have a wonderful New Years celebration.... I'm thinking of you daily. Love, Cheryl

I am praying for you Amy. Your book should be on its way, Healed of Cancer. You look good and I am looking in the Lord for a good report. Just trust in the Lord, He will never leave you nor forsake you. I love you my friend and God loves you too!.

That certainly is no fun. Still praying that the news is good. Hang in there with a strong spirit!

I know how that is when it comes to no one being able to find any blood in your veins let alone find your veins. They all sit there and poke around and think that they found your veins and low and behold they didn't. I have come pretty accquainted with areas where they can find blood and put them out to them as soon as they come in. Oh, it is awful. Hang in there and I am praying for some good news for you!! HUGS.

I just had some blood drawn on Saturday and only have one good vein...I was just saying, "when that one goes, I am in big trouble." Gotta love all the blood draws. I had so many between all the pregnancies & Thyroid cancer...
I will be praying for good results.

Mimi

Ouch! What a pain...really, a pain. I am thinking about you and praying for good results.

*Funny little story. I was traveling home (took 4 days in pretty bad weather) and my mom said she was praying for me... I asked her to pray a little less for me and a little more for you. :D

Remind me... how many vials did they take? Ya know Amy? You were a trooper... but you had to be, right?

Thinking of you right now... and praying for your tomorrow... huggs

It could be worse; the same thing happened to my MIL last weekend, and they ended up having to put an IV in her neck. Her arms were completely black and blue from all the sticks. Good luck on Monday!
